Denny's with Hotaru!!

Read the previous post too!!

Sunday, May 11

Today I got to hang out with Hotaru!!

First I ate breakfast with everyone before church. They were heading out to visit Obaasan for Mother's Day. But they let me stay home since I had a final tomorrow. Yuko told me they probably wouldn't be back until late, so she gave me $6 to spend on dinner.

So I went to church and then had planned to leave right after that, but I'd forgotten my train pass, so I had to run back home to get it. I threw my laundry in the wash too so it could run while I was out.

I met Hotaru at Kamimaezu at 12:30 because we were going to have lunch in Osu. Ah, I went to Osu twice this weekend!

We walked around a while looking for this restaurant Hotaru wanted to eat at that had hamburgers, pasta, and sweets she said. I don't like hamburgers, but the pasta and sweets sounded like Sweets Paradise, so I figured it would be good!

On the way, I stopped in that super pink 300 yen store where I got my kitty tights that time and bought a pair of each the kitty, bunny, and bear for my sister and me (since my kitties are starting to tear), and then I bought extra kitties with pink cheeks for myself. ^^

Then Hotaru told me the restaurant was up on the second floor of this arcade, so we headed up to it.

Well guess what it was folks? A good old American Denny's! I was like "this is an American restaurant!" It turned out Hotaru had had no idea haha! She said we could go somewhere else, but I could tell she'd been really wanting to go here, so I said it was fine! Plus I was really craving pancakes.

So yeahhh, Denny's in Japan really is like a five star restaurant! The best deal was to buy an entire meal that came with main dish, salad, drink and a dessert, so that's what we got! Also, there was free wifi in the Denny's that my phone automatically connected to. :)
I was like, man I hope they have melon soda, but they probably don't. But guess what y'all? They totes did!
Man I'm gonna miss melon pan and melon soda.

After we got our drinks, they brought us our salad! It had this mushy orange stuff on too that was actually really good!

Hotaru told me she got me a goodbye present. Aww she's so nice!! Today was originally supposed to be a going away party for me, but them Yukari and Sara couldn't make it because it was Mother's Day. :( Aw well!

It was wrapped in wrapping from "Kiddy Land", so I was all excited. And guess what it was?? A Rilakkuma pencil pouch!!! Ahhh!! She remembered how much I like Rilakkuma! She's the best!!

(Me with my new Rilakkuma pencil pouch!)

(Hotaru and moi)

We both got the chicken don dish because I looove chicken over rice!

It was awesome! It came with tomato, kabocha (pumpkin), avocado, and sweet potato!

And then the best part!! Dessert!!!!! I got these fucking amazing caramel pancakes!! And Hotaru got a humungo matcha, azuki, mochi parfait!!

(My noms)

(Hotaru's noms)

(Me with my noms)

(Hotaru with her noms)

Gosh it was so, so good!!
Then after lunch we went into the arcade to take purikura. Turns out it was the same arcade I went to way back in the first week of school with Taylor, Megan, and Emma where I played the UFO catcher!

We ended up doing two different sets of purikura and I paid for the second since I felt bad that Hotaru had given me a gift and I had nothing for her in return!
Man, I'm gonna miss her so much! She says she's going to try to go to school in Kyoto in a year or two to continue her Asian literature studies there.

(I decorated this one and I really like it!)

(I decorated this one too :D )

Aw we're so cute!!

After putikura, we went to Seria, the 100 yen store to look around. But Hotaru was in a shopping mood and I really needed to get back home to study, so I told her I needed to go study and she understood. :(

At home, I finished my laundry and did another load, and studied a bit. Then I went to Seiyu to buy dinner. And guess what was there on sale???

(Suika!!!)

It was 30% off of 285, which made it hella cheap compared to the one I saw yesterday! So I bought it. I also got the inarizushi and sushi combo I'm obsessed with and a chocolate chip melon pan. And it all totaled to 608 yen, so I only paid 8 yen for dinner! Woohoo!

Then I went home to eat and Skype my mom while I ate.
And you know, take watermelon-eating selfies...

(Omg I can't believe I ate the entire thing!!)

After I finished eating and cleaned up my mess from the watermelon, I headed to my room to study some more. Then everyone got home from Handa. Yuko came to my room and asked me how dinner was. I said it was delicious and she was all like "what did you buy?"
So I told her a sushi bento and suika. And she was like "whooaaa, suika!" Then she asked if she could talk to me for a bit after Miyabi takes her bath. But I said I was about to go to bed now (you know, since I have a final tomorrow and everything...), so she asked if we could talk now. I said sure, wondering what the heck this was about.
So we went into the kitchen where Ken was sitting at the table waiting. Then Yuko told Miyabi to do her homework and closed the doors dividing the kitchen from the living room. She'd done that with the bike talk too, so this must be serious. But then she brought over her iPad so I figured she was just going to help me find hotels some more.

But then she was all like "do you like living here?"
Well that was out of nowhere.
I was like "yeah..." (Haha yeah right)
And she was like "really? You've never lied to us before? Not even about the bike?"
What? What would I have lied about with the bike?
At this point, I was thinking Mitch had broken his promise and told her everything I'd told him at school. But then she was like "I read your blog."
Hahahahaha ohhhhh fuckkkkkk.

I was like "my blog?" (Huh? What blog?)

And she was like "yeah" and shoved her iPad towards me which had my Obara post up on it.

She was like "a dear friend told me about your blog."

Fuuuuck, so Rana's host mom had finally squealed. I thought it would be safe with her knowing about it because she can't really read English and has known about it since January and so far hasn't said anything. But apparently not...

So yeah. I got seriously scolded. She said a whole bunch of mean shit to me, including, I kid you not:

"I'm sorry, but out of all our host students, you rank the worst."

And

"We only liked you because you were nice to Miyabi and played with her."

At one point I was nice and said "I'm sorry" and she was all like
"Oh, you will be sorry."

She told me I've caused them so many problems like the fact that I was almost raped and then that I got hit by a car. Okay, no. Neither of those were my fault! Yes, it was my fault that I forgot my key, but that's another thing I wish we'd gone over. What to do if I ever forgot my key. One of my friends told me that in their host family's house, there's always a door secretly left open in case that happens.

She also said that the reason she hadn't helped me with the train pass and the bike and other stuff (I'd told her that was the main issue, that I wished they'd helped me more, since living in a new country whose language you're not fluent in is scary enough even when things go well) was because she wanted me to learn from my hardships by doing everything on my own, because was the way she was raised. What a load of bs! Like, if that was really her reasoning, then at least she should have helped me the first month while I got settled in and then if I seemed capable enough, leave me be for the next four months.
But even that is pretty rude. Because part of living with a host family is having someone there to turn to when you need help.

I sat there shaking with anger, but hey, I didn't cry!! My friends all said later, they would have started crying. But I didn't want her to think she'd gotten to me.

And then she told me that my mom and sister can't stay there anymore and that they're not going to my closing ceremony anymore. Big whoop.

Oh and she was all like "do your parents know about this blog?"
And I was like "yeah, they read it every day"
And she couldn't believe it. She was speechless after that.

Ken just sat there nodding along with everything she said. So when they were done talking, I was like "so should I go to school tomorrow and ask to be moved to a dorm?"
And they said yes. And Yuko said she'd call the school as well.
So guess what guyzz, I got kicked out of my host parents house even though I only have one effing week left!

I left without saying anything else and went to my room after to call my parents. My dad answered and cracked up when I told him she read it, haha. Then I texted Emma and she told me her host mom said that she's heard a bunch of bad things from students about my host family. Like that Yuko only wants students so she can practice English, that they live so effing far from the school, and then one time this girl moved to another host family halfway through the year, but still invited my host family to her end of year party. But when my host family came, they were super awkward and didn't say anything to her the entire time...

So I told Yuko I'd take down my blog, but I just changed the URL for a bit because I didn't want all you lovely readers to not be able to read my blog anymore! So yeah, I changed it to heckofanadventure.blogspot.com.
Also, I looked at the views for each post and it looked like she'd only read the Obara post. Wth? I wrote like nothing bad about them on that post. Just that I preferred Kuya's parents. Nothing to kick me out of the house for!
Gosh, imagine if she'd read the other posts, particularly around the time I got hit by a car, hahaha. I'm pretty sure I called her a bitch on one of those...

Yeah... Then I went to sleep, dreading the super awkwardness of breakfast tomorrow morning.

First day back!

I just posted three posts in the last 12 hours! Trying to catch up guys, sorry!
So read them all when you get a chance!

Monday, March 24

I totally wasn't ready to go back to school this morning.
For breakfast we had bagels. Miya's and Yuko's had cheese on them and mine was plain. Bagels don't exist in Japan. These were ones we bought from Costco. I wanted jam on my bagel but I couldn't open the jar. Yuko couldn't either, so she told me to choose something different and she'd have Ken open it later. So I decided to try the Anerican honey.
As I thought, it wasn't as sweet as Japanese honey. And it was thicker. It was funny because Yuko thought the American honey was sweeter and less thick. Weird.
Miya felt too sick to eat breakfast so she just slept in the other room while I ate and Yuko tended to her.
But as I got dressed I heard her leaving and Yuko saying goodbye so I guess she went to school anyway.
I walked out and Miya was standing out there with her fellow classmates. I was shouting "Miya!", trying to get her attention to say goodbye to her, when this girl came up to me and was like "Keito!" I waved to her and said "ohayou!" And then I realized she'd known my name when I don't even know who she is!
Then she said that we always pass each other and made a motion like she was playing a DS. Omg it was Kahokaho! I was like "ah, I forget your name, hold on..." And she was all like "Ah sorry, I don't understand English!"
I sat there, trying to remember her name and she was all like "daijobu!" And then finally I was like "Kaho!" And she was all "sou sou!" (Yes, that's right!)
Haha she was cute! I'm glad I finally met her in person lol.

At the train station, I ran into Esteban so we rode to school together. Then as we were walking to Nanzan, Emma joined us.

Ah the first day back is always so stressful because I want to talk to everyone about all the places they went as well as tell everyone about everything I did! But I managed to tell every person I correspond with from time to time about my trip to the host club! The guys thought it was weird and the hosts looked girly, but the girls thought it was awesome, thought the hosts were hot, and were super jealous of me, haha!

Also, Emma got me omiyage!! I love her! She is seriously the best! Also, she reads my blog from time to time too, so she's currently winning in terms of cool people at Nanzan.
It's from Miyajima where she went over break! She also invited me on a day trip last Saturday to see the snow monkeys in Nagano, but I'd already told Yuko I'd go to the Chugakkou. Ah well, she had fun there, but said she felt pretty rushed and wished she'd done more than just a day.

(The deer at Miyajima tried to eat it lol)

And inside was...

(Rilakkuma socks since she knows how much I love Rilakkuma!!)

(Look at the Miyajima sticker!)

Ah it was so nice!!
Then we had class, unforch. I asked Mutsukawa sensei when to use "hontou" and when to use "hontou da" because I've heard both and he was all "you never say hontou da!" So I was like oh, ok.
But next period with Kondo sensei, I pointed out something on a worksheet we had and she was like, "eh? Hontou da!" And I pointed at her, turned to my classmates, and shouted "She said 'hontou da!'" Haha. She was surprised when I said Mutsukawa sensei had said you don't say hontou da. Thankfully she explained to me that:
Hontou = really?
Hontou da = you're right!

Ahh, got it now! I love Kondo sensei.
We had our test this morning and I made stupid mistakes that I wouldn't have made had I had more time to study. Rawr.
When Kondo sensei arrived, before second period started, she gave us all omiyage from Kyuushuu! It was so nice! It was Kuma chan cookies!
There were two different pictures and I got the cuter one. :)

(My cookie)

(Mine and Chris's)

They were really delicious!

When class ended, I ran to the cafeteria with the other 300 folks. Aaaaand I got misokatsudon!! Yeeeeessss, I'd missed it so much!
I accidentally spilled my miso soup all over my tray, like a boss. And to make it worse, the Japanese guy at the table next to me totally noticed!
My chopsticks had soup all over them, so I rummaged through my backpack to find a tissue to wipe them off with. I couldn't find one, so I gave up and was turning back around when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up, and the Japanese guy next to me was holding out a pack of tissues!! Omg!
I thanked him and took one. Ahhh what a nice guy!

Then it was time for calligraphy. It was kind of boring today... And mine sucked. Sensei kept coming over and telling me ways to fix my kanji, so finally when she came over and didn't offer any criticism, I decided I was done.
I don't like how it looks, but this was the best one I wrote.

And then my favorite class!
The okashi today was so pretty!! So were the decorations! Ooohhh I love spring!

(Pretty flowers!)

(Today's okashi)

(So colorful! I really wished we could have eaten more than one. It was so, so good!)

(I was surprised when the inside was finally something other than anman. It was just as sweet, though!)

We got to make the tea again today! This time I did it perfectly, and didn't need sensei to help me at all.

(My teacup. It was so pretty with sakura!)

(Other side of my teacup)

After class, I headed to Lawson's to buy some bread because I was hungry. And I got a bear sticker! I've been wanting to try the pancake things with cream in the middle so I got them.

Then I went to the computer lab to answer some emails.
When I finished I headed home. The sunset was so pretty!

The pancake things turned out to be really soft, like actual pancakes. And they tasted like pancakes too! That's when I realized, they had syrup inside!!!
Omg they were so so good!!!! Ahhhh!!! I could've eaten a ton of them!

It was so warm tonight! In the 50s! It made for a really nice bike ride home. :)

When I got home, Miya was resting in the room next to the living room. She'd been coughing a lot yesterday, I was worried is catch whatever she had. And now it seems like it's worse, ugh.
I did my homework in the living room and them Yuko said dinner was ready, so I went into the kitchen. Miya didn't want to eat, so Yuko turned off the living room light and let her sleep.
Yuko talked to me during dinner about my family back home and about how in Japan, company workers all get the same vacation (Golden week), so it's hard to go on family trips because everyone travels then, and then they have no time otherwise. That sucks.
After dinner, since Yuko had turned off the living room light, I brought my homework into the kitchen to do at the kitchen table like I always used to do as a kid.
But Yuko was all like, "oh, are you going to do your homework here?"
I was like "yeah..."
And she said "oh, we don't usually do work here"
So I got banished to my room again... That kind of pissed me off because it felt like she was trying to get rid of me. But I was probably just making too big a deal out of it.
Anyway, she came in and told me I could shower whenever because Ken was going to be late, so I showered then. I was really tired but I had so much homework, so I did it and them went to bed nice and early at 9:30, yay!

THE PENIS FESTIVAL!!!!!!!

Omgomgomgomg today was the day!!!!
The day I've been waiting over a year for!
I went to Inuyama's PENIS FESTIVAL!!!

(Also the day I became the most famous person in Japan for a couple of hours)

I woke up and got ready and then Yuko called everyone to breakfast. Ken and Miya took a while to wake up, but I went in to eat. She let me start eating right away since she knew I had to go.
She made pancakes and they were delicious!! I had them with honey. :)

I got two!

She had hers with peanut butter and told me how in the English class she teaches, they'd been watching an American short film thing where the kids were having a party. And they ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and now she knew if them because of me! She said all her students really wanted to try them lol.

Then I finished getting ready and left. I met Esteban at Ichinomiya station at 9.
We took the JR to Nagoya. My card had expired yesterday, so I had to pay to get to Nagoya. :( I decided of pay on the way home too and tomorrow when I go to Nagoya, and then just renew my card when I get back from Tokyo, or else it would expire right before my last day of school and that would suck.
Then we hopped on the Meitetsu line (my first time riding it!) to Inuyama's, where we got off and got on another Meitetsu to backtrack to Tagata Jinja-Mae, the stop we wanted.

Cigarette vending machines!

Schedule of the festival events

Wood carvings you could buy outside the station exit...

More of the wood carvings

Penis and vagina lollipops

They're everywhere!!

More dick lollies

From there, we followed all the people to the penis festival!
Esteban wanted to stop in a bakery first, so we did that. The bakery had normal bread, as well as some penis things...
Penis lollipops in the bakery

Rolled crackers in the bakery. With a penis mascot guy too!
Penis pancake things

Of course there had to be a giant wooden dick in the bakery

Penis pancakessss
Then we headed down to the festival.

Entrance to the festival!

The massive shrine - Kumano Shrine

Taiko performance! Lots of little kids in it
Esteban wanted to watch the taiko performance. Since I'd already seen one at the Vagina festival, I headed around the shrine to look at the other stuff.

Penis bell at another small shrine. I rang it later ;)

Penii (that's the plural of penis, right?)

Giant penisss

The Ema have penii on them!

Cool structure to tie your bad fortunes on

Lucky penis charm you could buy

Look at dem chisai (small) penii

You could buy a penis Ema to write your wish on

Or, you know, a book with a penis on it...

Penis crackers!

Penis lolly pops

More penis lollipops

Penis wood carvings

I wanted the Rilakkuma mask! But it was 800 yen :(

Penii with itty bitty testicles. I liked how the lady was carving the banana to make it look more like a penis.

Penis things...

Cute character lollypops!!

Self explanatory...
Cute yatai!!

Okra, maybe?

Squid on a stick

The same lady I bought the banana from at the vagina festival! Except this time her bananas had penis-shaped chocolates on them! I asked her if she made the chocolates and she said she she bought them, so I asked her where lol. I want them!
Then I went back over to the taiko show and I ran into Rana and Ben and some other Ryuugakusei from Nanzan! We grabbed Esteban and I told everyone about the penis shrine area next to the shrine with the penis bell, so we all went over there.
Penis things.

The penis shrine. The ratio's not quite right...

Everyone went up and rubbed the testicles. So I did too!

I made Esteban touch the vagina rock, haha
Then I told everyone I wanted a banana and marshmallow dick, so we headed back over to the food stalls!

Yuss got my banana penis! It was sooo good!

Esteban and me with our dicks

And Rana and me!

Mmmmmm

I saw this guy licking a hot pink penis lollipop and was pointing to it to show Taylor, when the guy saw me and raised it and smiled. I went up to him and pointed at it and said "hoshii!" (I want), and he offered it to me, haha.
My friends and I made jokes after that about how a guy had offered me his dick to lick, haha.
I also saw a group of really cute guys, all with marshmallow dicks and when they saw me looking at them, they waved their dicks at me (the marshmallow ones, I mean).

More vagina and penis pops!

Aww, cute Rilakkuma pops!
Ben bought rice wrapped in bacon
Ben with his bacon penis

Guys dressed up all cool
Taylor and I wanted to buy penis lollipops, so we did!

I got two, pink for me and blue for Bridget!

Taylor got pink too!
I was going to save my lollipop to eat at home in May with my sister, but I decided I wanted to eat it while I was at the penis festival, haha. So I unwrapped it and ate it.
WOW, WHAT A RESPONSE I GOT FOR DOING THAT!!
Taylor and I were literally swarmed for the next two hours by Japanese people wanting to take our picture and foreigners (there were SOOO many foreigners at this festival!) asking us where we got the pops, haha (they were in a kind of hidden location).
Holy crap, were the Japanese people obsessed with the fact that white girls were sucking dick lollipops. This one old lady came over to us and put her camera really close to us and we smiled and held up our lollipops for her, but she told us to put the lollipops in our mouth "because it would be cute." We were like um, no, you dirty old granny. (jk, we didn't say that, but we wanted to).
This one guy taking pictures and movies for the news in Germany took a video of us licking our pops, so we're going to be on German news haha!
Anyway, a lot of the guys pointing at us and talking among themselves and then wanting to take pictures with us were really cute, so I made them also take a picture with my camera!

This was the group of guys who waved their dicks at me! I got a pic with them later.

The guy who offered me his dick

First dude who wanted a pic with us

These dudes were awesome. They wanted a pic with us too

Cool float!

These guys all held up their banana dicks and touched them together haha. Dick toast!

We found a cowboy!

And a crossdresser wanted a pic with us...

More guys wanting a pic with us
And more...
This girl was double fisting so Taylor wanted a pic with her!
After we took that pic with the girl double fisting, the three of us were SWARMED with a HUGE crowd of people snapping photos of us.
I felt like a celebrity! ;)
We had to fight them off us in order to leave, haha.

So many
So, so many
So, so, so many. (These guys were holding papers up so we'd look at them)
After that, Taylor and I bit the tips of the lollipops off, so they just looked like regular lollipops and we stopped getting so many people taking creeper shots of us. Although, not before these guys in purple snuck shots of us:

Preparing for the festival

More festival preparation
I decided I wanted to go check out the other shrine that was nearby, so I grabbed Esteban and he, Taylor, and I headed over.
The other shrine was where all the festival floats were chilling.

The 280 kg (620 pound), 2.5 meter (96 inch)-long wooden penis. Holy crap.

The flag... It creeps me out

I touched the giant penis. Those guys saw I wanted to and brought me to the front of the crowd so I could, haha. So nice!

Little penii at this shrine

Cool gong

The floats!
We went back to the main shrine for the prayer and then got bored again pretty quickly. We'd gotten to the festival at 10 that morning and the parade wasn't until 3!
Taylor wanted to leave at this point because she had stuff to do, so she bought a crepe and then left. Esteban and I headed to another nearby shrine that I wanted to go see (I had a map with all the shrines marked on it).

Inuyama's drain covers!
This guy with his dressed up dogs...
Entrance to the shrine
The next shrine
The shrine had a really pretty forest behind it that Esteban and I walked through.
On the way back to the main shrine, we found a hill overlooking Inuyama. It was really pretty!

Back at the main shrine, we bought some food. I got takoyaki. I'd seen 7 for 500 yen, but I walked all the way to the takoyaki stall I'd seen when we first walked in and they were 8 for 500 yen there! But they were disgusting! They were really uncooked and seriously paled in comparison to the one's I'd eaten in Osaka.
After we sat on the tatami benches and ate, I was thristy so we headed to the nearby supermarket. On the way, we found Rana and Ben sitting on the ground, so we got drinks and joined them. I got the momo water I had at Nanzan that time (it was cheaper at this supermarket).
Then Rana and Ben went to go eat more food, so Esteban and I went to go watch the parade. We were going to walk along the road as it passed, but when we got to the road, the sides of the road were so packed with people, we couldn't walk! So we found spots on a raised part to stand and watch it.

Guy dressed as a scary oni!

The creepy veiny penis with hairy balls flag
In the parade, these girls walked around carrying wooden penii. If you rubbed them, you got good luck. So of course I rubbed it!

This old guy was waving this tassel around, saying to touch it, but only women! Men were not allowed to touch it, haha. So I touched it!

When the wind blew, we got to see what was in the float!

The tree float

The giant dick!

So long!
Free sake! Yes, please :)
After the parade passed, Esteban and I headed back to the main shrine, where it ended, to see it finish.
Helicopter getting coverage of the parade

Parade coming!

Penis entering the shrine
Super short video of the penis bouncing before entering the shrine!

After the giant penis came in, Esteban and I headed to the mochi area to get good seats for the mochi throwing! We got there 30 minutes early, so it was a long wait. I knew we were going to get trampled once it started...
They kept coming on the loudspeaker and saying in both English and Japanese, that the area was full and elderly, women, and children should stay out because it could be dangerous!

So many people!!
Me in the sea of Japanese people!
When it finally started, it was chaos! People tripping and falling around. There were a lot of people on the ground trying to get the fallen mochi. One guy stuck his arm between my legs to grab a mochi, and that was not okay!
Esteban caught one!! I couldn't believe it! I'd told him he probably wouldn't be able to, but he did!
He said he was leaving after he caught it, but I stayed a bit longer. I realized I was too short to catch any, though, so I left too and met him where we'd planned to meet.
Then we headed out to go home.
I'm glad I'd decided we take the Meitetsu line, because look at the side of the station for the subway! So crowded!!
Our side was relatively empty.

On the train back, Esteban let me have his mochi! It was rock hard lol.

So big!!
We also met these guys at Inuyama who rode back to Nagoya with us. They'd been to the penis festival too and bought a penis lucky charm thing and took a bunch of pictures. We had a conversation in Japanese with them!

At Ichinomiya, Esteban was meeting his host family to go out to dinner. I wanted to meet his host sisters that he always talks about, so he took me up to the library on the second floor where they were so I could meet them. They were so cute!! I talked to his host mom a bit too. I let his host sisters have the mochi. :)
Then they left and I stayed to look around the library a bit. There were books of Toy Story 2 and other Disney movies I knew. I'll have to go try to read them sometime.

Outside the library was a balcony with tables overlooking Ichinomiya. It looked so pretty in the golden afternoon sun!

I took a panorama

The Ichinomiya mascot was in the garden below! I guess for the 138th anniversary?
I got SUUUUUPPERRR sunburnt today (Yuko noticed at dinner), so I bout sunscreen and aloe from Daiso (shoulda done it earlier).
Then I rode my bike home and told Miya and Yuko I was home. I took in the rest of my laundry and packed for Tokyo.
When Ken got home, he grilled meat and vegetables on the table grill, and we ate them with rice and sauce. It was good! Even though I ate a lot, Yuko and Ken thought I didn't eat much and said I must have been full!

TOKYO TOMORROW, GUYS!!!

P.S. Yesterday was the best Pi Day! 3.14.15 (the first 6 digits of pi!)
