I love pan :)

Oh man, I wish my classes started at 11 every day!
I woke up 30 min before my alarm rang feeling refreshed and fully rested and it was so wonderful!
Then I went to the kitchen expecting to make myself a bowl of cereal like Yuko had told me to, but I found this at my place (she's so nice!!):

It's so funny because I had talked on the phone with my parents last night and they'd asked if I had raisin bread over here (because they know how much I like it) and I'd said no, and I missed it. And Yuko was with Miyabi in her room and Ken was in the bath, so I don't think anyone heard me, but boom there was raisin bread at my place this morning!
It was so awesome! :)
It was really, really good! I don't usually eat this much bread in one sitting lol, but it was cool.

Ugh every time I picked Ribbon up and put her on the floor, she just jumped back up on the table, so I gave up.

(No, my bread, back off!)

Then I got ready nice and slowly. It was 41 degrees when I left for the train station. So nice!
I've been hearing about it being in the 1 digits from my friends at Tech and my sister, so I feel lucky to be in Japan haha.

The train was so much emptier than usual too and the stations weren't packed. Gosh, it was a good morning.

(This guy had really cool shoes!)

So it's official. Now that I've got my commute down pat, I've realized it takes me an hour and a half to get to school every day!
Like I leave at 7:30 and get to school at 9 and today I left at 9:20 and got to school at 10:50.
Ughhh so long! I miss just rolling out of bed 15 minutes before class. :(

As I walked to school today, part of the road was blocked off because they were repainting the crosswalk lines. It was super cute they used a stencil to draw the bike drawing for the bike path. And the paint was in sticky strips like that white out tape.

So in class today I impressed Mutsukawa sensei with my knowledge of places in Nagoya. I knew about Sushiro (the kaitenzushi place) and Club ID, so I got to explain to everyone about Sushiro and what kaitenzushi was and I taught sensei about Club ID (a five floor night club in Nagoya I've been wanting to go to but have been waiting for it to get warmer), because he'd heard about it but didn't really know what it was.
I also got to say what part of my homestay experience was the coolest (since everyone else in my class lives in the dorms) and I said the heated carpets haha!

After class was lunch. I bought pan with cranberries and white chocolate (like my favorite cookies back home!)

Rana and I went to Dagane (a cafeteria on campus across the way from Lawson's. Where I got the misokatsu that time).
I got something my sensei had recommended to us in class - the toritamadon (chicken and egg over rice)!
And I took a picture of it, but it's not there. Rawr I'm so mad! Oh well, I'm sure I'll have it again some time in the future. The egg was poached, so I really liked it!

Lol I saw this in the vending machine!

(The label says all this stuff about how it's like bodily fluid haha, but apparently it's pronounced "Pocari Sweet" in Japanese)

After we ate, we walked over to one of the dorms (NKK) with Devon, Tom, and another guy who's name I forget. There, a whole bunch of the foreigners were chilling in the lounge talking and playing video games. I played Super Smash Bros and failed miserably even though this guy was being nice and trying to help me haha.

(The lounge)

Then Rana, Pearl, Devon, and I sat at a table and talked until it was time to head back to campus for Japanese Folklore.

Japanese Folklore wasn't too bad! We got into groups and talked about our favorite movies from out home country and what movies we would use to represent our country.
Then we talked about our favorite Japanese movies. I couldn't for the life of me remember that cute Japanese movie with the two boys and the Shinkansen I saw at Tech last year that I loved so much!
Then we had the actual lesson. The lessons are super boring because our professor doesn't teach, we just sit and watch a PowerPoint with a recording of her voice doing a lecture. It's a snoozefest.

It was dark when we got out a little after 5:30. Rana, Esteban, and I walked to the train station and then Esteban and I were train buddies again for the ride home.

At home, Miyabi was really sick and crying a whole bunch. Yuko was taking care of her. I sat in my room till Ken called me to dinner. Then he and I ate together. It was fun because I got to practice my Japanese a bunch! I actually held an entire conversation with him!! It was so exciting! And I found out he knows Home Made Kazoku!! (Yuko didn't when I talked to her about it yesterday).
