And they said Miyabi (their 7-year old daughter) has been counting down the days until I come. Ahhhh I can't wait to meet them!!!
Oh, and I got my yen the other day! It's super pretty. What's cool is the bills are different sizes depending on the amount. They get bigger as the value increases. Also, if you hold each one up to the light you can see the person (emperor, probably?) associated with that bill.
So New Year's was fun. I got hang out with and say goodbye to some of my best and oldest friends from high school.
I'm going to send this picture to my host family so they know what we do for NYE in America. And then they'll also have an idea of what I look like so they can easily find me in the airport.
Also, I haven't started packing... Because I DESPISE packing. So I'll probably do it midnight of the night before my 7 am flight haha.
Anyway, only 2.5 more days!!! :)))
