They replied!!

Japanese people are so sweet. I woke up to this super adorable message, all in Japanese, about how they can't wait to meet me and introduce me to their pets, they'll be waiting for me at the airport, and they're learning English! Aaaannndd they sent a picture of their 7-year-old daughter!! I'm so excited to meet her.
Update on studying: It's sooo hard to study when no one around you is studying :,(
But I did do a little yesterday. But not kanji, which is what I should be reviewing and learning. I had a dream the other night where my sensei was yelling at me because I failed Japanese class so that's pretty much what motivated me to do the little bit of studying I did. 熊澤先生ありがとうございました。

Contacting my host family! :)

Soo I emailed my host family today. I'll post their response when it comes.
I'm trying not to let it get me down that they live so freaking far away from my university, but everyone I've been telling about it thinks I should have chosen a dorm room instead.
Hopefully it will make for an interesting train ride each day, though!
And I should probably be studying my Japanese too. I'm getting kind of worried about the placement test. I'm going to get it and not know how to answer anything haha. So yeah... I should get on that. I just have like zero motivation right now. Because it's Christmas.

Also, I haven't given my blog to anyone yet, so I don't really know why I'm posting stuff. My friend gave me the idea to write things while I'm waiting for my adventure to start so I can remember what I did in the weeks before leaving. So yep, that's what's happening.
